At the beginning of the Novell Stanley arrives at “Camp Green Lake” where he gets an intrduction to the rules of the camp and gets to know the other campers. At the next day Stanley must dig holes in the blistering heat. When Stanley becomes to know that Zero can’t read, the both make a deal. Stanley will teach Zero in reading and Zero will dig a bit of Stanleys hole everyday, so Stanley has the energy to teach.
Expression of my Expectations
I expect form reading the novel “Holes” written by Louis Sachar, that I can read it by my own without any difficulties. Also it will be wonderfull when the novel “Holes” isn’t a “08/15″ book, like the others we read. I expect an interesting story with teenagers digging holes. Maybe digging holes should be a punishment as an alternative to prison.
